Across the Mojave

Linda: Yesterday's ride was 116 miles across the Mojave Desert in 100+ degree heat. I skipped it and chose the sag wagon so I could finish the next three days. Bill didn't and finished with the usual smile on his face despite having 5 (yes, 5) flats, probably from thorns or these tiny sharp wires from truck tires. I am in total admiration.
