The view from my rear view mirror

We made it to LA yesterday and were able to reconnect with our bikes (they came separately last week ;-)). I had never been interested in visiting LA, but we took a long ride along the beach today and it is lovely. Beautiful wide beaches, gorgeous houses with gardens, so many people skating, skateboarding, biking, running, just enjoying the day. And every time I looked in my rear view mirror, I saw palm trees.
