A Short Ride to Downtown Indianapolis
Crawfordsville to Indianapolis: 54 miles; 1,600 feet of climb
Nice weather, started in the 40s and ended in the 70s. Little wind. The ride was nice; ~3 hours on the saddle.
We are staying downtown, right on the canal. Nice selection of restaurants, which folks took advantage of.
It is surprising how many Bird and Lime scooters are around town. Of course, the younger staff members were doing all kinds of tricks out in the parking lot and around town. They were bunny hopping curbs, wheelies (difficult with front wheel drive), and leaving skids marks in all kinds of designs.
A tribute to our son....for whom every town is Jamestown.
It is nice they keep some of these old structures, as a memory of a time gone by.
Continuing to plant in Indiana. We have seen significant investment in farm equipment over the last month.
Celebrating Flag Day, a day early
Nice view of downtown, via their bike path, with 2 friends from SW Ohio. Both are incredibly strong riders.
Linda took it, so I'll post it.
The white things on my arms are arm coolers. They work surprisingly well.
Linda would wear the leg coolers, but she says they look too goofy. She is right.
Very nice, relaxing lunch and dinner today. Lunch with ~8 folks, outside at an Italian cafe. Dinner as a couple, sitting at the bar of the Weber Grill. Learned that they cook the food on Weber Grills.
Then ice cream at the Chocolate Company on the square.
On to Richmond, IN tomorrow.
