Wonderful weather and ride into Indiana
Wednesday was a rest day. Oliver and Rachel came down and he entertained us for many hours. His energy is infectious. The big event on Wednesday was 18 holes of putt putt. We each hit our balls off the tee, then he would hit them all into the hole.
We were ready for a rest day. It amazes me how the rest days are placed right where the riders need them.
Today's ride: Champaign, IL to Crawfordsville, IN: 80.5 miles, 2,600 feet of climb
The temperatures were in the 50s and 60s all day with cloud cover. We had a nice quartering tail wind for most day. We made really good time with only 4 1/2 hours in the saddle.
We rode through part of University of Illinois and downtown Champaign. Then on a nice 2 lane country road.
Hit the Indiana line
Had a nice stop in Hillsboro
Nice bike art on the wall of a restaurant
Hard to believe we only have 2 more weeks until our closing banquet. This trip is going fast.

She climbs hills faster and can lift her bike higher. I love being married to an overachiever. (note from Linda: I am quickly losing my single advantage. Bill has figured out how to climb. ;-()
Try as I may, I could not get on the bike with the banana seat
Medical update (optional reading): after arriving in Crawfordsville --different spot; same procedure: lance, drain, pack. I am running out of real estate down there.
Totals to date:
Miles: 2,334
Feet of climb: 70,714
You guys are an inspiration. Truly.
