Mamou to St Francesville

Loving Louisiana. But to put it in perspective, we did just leave TexASS. A number of riders kept track of all their expenditures in TX and will donate that amount to their local Planned Parenthood.

93 miles of just about everything today. Started out on great roads through more crawfish farms, rice and very little traffic.

They had us go on this abandoned "swamp road" which was in really rough shape. It still acts as a levee with beautiful swamps on both sides. They have turned it into a hunting club. Beautiful.

Then we rode across the Mississippi, which always looks flooded.

Then past all these beautiful houses in New Roads, LA on the river.

Tomorrow is a rest day......but we are in the middle of nowhere at a girl scout camp.

2 weeks to the Atlantic. We are ready to see friends and family again.
