Marianna to Tallahassee

And they are off! The last 3 in the photo are Linda, Alan (a very funny guy, very dry sense of humor) and me.
86 miles, 3,000+ feet of climb, and 10 mph head winds. The mechanic that has supported a bunch of these rides, says he can't remember headwinds like these for so many days in a row.
Roads were pretty good. Nice shoulders for a lot of the ride.
For being the flattest state, Florida will throw some hills ar you. Kyrie Irving should ride a bike, he will learn the earth is not flat.

Old Gretna schoolhouse built in 1908. The area used to big in the manufacturing of turpentine. You can still smell all the pines.

We are more organized than this photo looks. Just trying to beat the light.

Fine dining at mile 70 at a Shell station. Lots of sugar and caffeine. I had pop tarts, snickers and Mt Dew. Linda had a builder bar, twix and Mt Dew. Tough time to be a tooth.
Every stop is a bit like Halloween.
Canopy Road. Loved it while it lasted.
A photo from the other day on the ferry.
4 days to go!
