Milton to DeFuniak Springs

One of the rider's wives bought him a special jersey for the ride. He finally wore on day 47.....and took a bunch of grief for it.  He can give as good as he gets, so it is still funny and not forgotten.

56 mile ride, 1,800 feet of climb and Linda did it at 16 mph. She would have been faster but she had to follow 3 old men up a bunch of hills early on. One of the 3 heard about it later.

Great lunch at a bbq restaurant. The place filled up with 30+ of us and the locals. The kitchen had no issue keeping up.

This is the 2nd place in a row with a pool. Always a nice way to end the ride. Great lake, but they ask you don't swim in it due to alligators. We took their word for it.

Big rain storm during dinner. 

We have been so lucky with the weather. As Linda likes to say, we will probably pay for it down the road.
